Our incidents don’t always involve launching the Lifeboat. Today, whilst the crew were on station training, they were made aware of a casualty with a suspected broken arm near the station. Keeping the casualty warm with blankets, the crew administered Entonox gas to help manage the pain until an Ambulance arrived to transport the patient for further treatment.
